Keep the remaining crop in light and airflow. Keep the growing medium comfortably hydrated.
AFTER THE CUT
Keeping an uncut crop alive is different from regrowing a harvested stem. Regrowth varies by crop and conditions; ask about your variety.

Water the roots.
Pour slowly into the side of the container so water reaches the growing medium. Avoid showering the tops of the plants.

Find a bright place.
Place the crop near a bright window with reasonable airflow. Watch the growing medium and ask Greenwave about the light that suits your crop.

Cut what you need.
Use clean scissors and cut above the growing medium. Take the amount you want for the meal in front of you.
