Four things to remember
The crop arrives ready to enjoy. Keep the growing medium comfortable and the canopy in good shape while you finish it.
Cut · Keep growing · Ask about regrowth
Harvest what you need with clean scissors, above the growing medium.
Keep the remaining crop in light and airflow. Keep the growing medium comfortably hydrated.
Keeping an uncut crop alive is different from regrowing a harvested stem. Regrowth varies by crop and conditions; ask about your variety.
Pour slowly into the side of the container so water reaches the growing medium. Avoid showering the tops of the plants.
Place the crop near a bright window with reasonable airflow. Watch the growing medium and ask Greenwave about the light that suits your crop.
Use clean scissors and cut above the growing medium. Take the amount you want for the meal in front of you.
How long your crop keeps growing depends on the variety, light, water, and when you choose to harvest it.
The short version
If the canopy looks tired, check the growing medium first. Water lightly from the side; do not flood the tray.
