Why Greenwave exists
Food does not need a long highway ride to feel special.
Greenwave is building a small urban farm around the idea that more of what we eat can be grown close to where we live. Growing locally means the crop can spend less of its life in transit and more of it alive, rooted, and useful.
Our focus is a crop that reaches you with its roots still attached, and a conversation about what you would like to grow next.
What guides the grow
A small operation built around living plants, close observation, and local connections.

WHAT WE TEST
Greenwave tests growing media, crop varieties, hydroponic methods, water, light, root systems, controlled-environment growing, and future urban-growing technology.
The public site shares what we're exploring and why. Exact recipes, cultivation data, and commercially sensitive growing methods stay private.
